Being an au pair in
the UK is the most economical way to learn the
English language and the only way to really get to know British culture. This is
because you live with a British family and experience their culture and way
of life closely. Being an au pair, you will have the chance to practise
your English with native speakers of the language. It's
likely you will also
become more mature, as you
learn to
take initiative and handle many
different situations,
while you are responsible for the children
of your host family.
An au pair must be a national of one of
the following countries:
